Ode To "T"

                                                                                                Julie Kemp Pick

Trample on my heart

Trespass on my soul

Twisting our love apart

Tragedy takes its toll.

Trips we'd never take

Trails we'd never follow
Treaties cool, half-baked

Tender tones, are only borrowed.

Tales of days long past

Trigger tears of sorrow

Truth is, it would never last

Trapped inside, the treachery of tomorrow.

A to Z Blogging Challenge

  1. I liked this very much, how everyone has a different outlook never ceases to amaze me.

    Happy Easter

  2. Nicely put. Some things are best left behind.

  3. So sad. But I'm a Pollyanna anyway. I like your poetry.
    Have a beautiful weekend.

  4. Beautiful poem Julie. A bit sad, so I hope that all is well and it is not a reflection of something going on in your life. .

  5. Wow! That's beautiful. I never could make my poetry sing like that.

  6. Very beautiful and touching poem, Julie!

  7. @Yvonne - Thank you and have a Happy Easter!

@mybabyjohn - It is time for spring cleaning!

@Manzanita - Thanks for visiting me and I will stop by your blog! I appreciate your kind words. Enjoy your weekend!

@Rhonda - I was having a tough time with the letter "T," so I jotted down a bunch of words, and decided to put them together in a poem. I thought I'd try something new. Many "T" words are on the dark side, unless I wrote about Ticklish Tommy The Triumphant Trombonist!

@Joyce - I was trying to think of a country western tune to go along with my little parody! Thanks Joyce

@Julie - Thanks for the wonderful compliment!

  8. great poem full of awesome T words. Happy Easter
Great meeting you through the A-Z!

  9. Thank you for stopping by! I really do appreciate your taking the time to leave a comment...I read each and everyone of them. I hope your day is a good one and that you will come back again soon. Take care. Nelson Souzza :)

    Happy Easter!
